Return executive power to the Governor General, and elect her.

Would you be willing to debate/expand on that point further? Sir Francis at dredtory.blogspot.com does not agree that electing a GG is an answer. I'm thinking of asking both of you to expand those points, host the resulting posts at my blog, and offer an opportunity for a rebuttal from each side.
Certainly – it's an idea I've had for a while, but I don't think I've ever really fleshed it out from first principles, and I'd love to engage in a real discussion over the merits. I'll try to write something up tonight, or at least over the weekend. Great idea, Catelli.
Could you send an e-mail to me cdnclosetliberal (at) yahoo dot ca so that you, me and Sir Francis can quickly communicate the ground rules and we'll get this started!

Does that interest you at all?
